"Who Will be Left Holding the Bag?"

Bella at That Damn Expat was tagged in a Meme today.... I decided that it was fun so I decided to do it also.....
Here are the rules:
1. Post a picture of whatever bag you are carrying as of late. No, you can't go into your closet and pull out your favorite purse! We want to know what you carried today or the last time you left the house.
2. List how much it cost. And this is not to judge. This is for entertainment purposes only. So spill it. And if there is a story to go along with how you obtained it, we’d love to hear it.
3.Tag some chicks. And link back to this post so people know why the heck you’re showing everyone your bag.
Now I wasn't always a bag lady (tee hee that sounds funny) but now I don't understand why not. I am obsessed with them....in one short year I have acquired quite a few..I just ordered two new ones.

It is my Giant Dooney and Burke... the Divas at work call it the "suitcase" I can carry anything in it!!!!

I bought it for $109.99 at the Dooney and Burke Outlet...it was a deal since the bag was originally $400.00!!

I have my staples... My coach wallet, Marlboro Menthol Lights and my baby Bic, a book I am working on, iPod Touch, Jawbone bluetooth, my "happy pills" and a ton of lipgloss...I think I have more than you do Bella!!! I could hold more and usually do when I have my kids with me.

I Tag Sassy, Gwen, Princess of the Universe, LegalMist ,Cholie that's it...hope you have fun with this!!!!

Totally Awkward Tuesday

So I am following the lead of some of my Fav blogs and decided to have totally awkward Tuesdays here on my blog. So here is goes...I moved around a lot as a kid because my dad was in the military and then when my parents divorced we moved some more. I never had a problem making friends....until I moved in to what is now my Dad's house. My Sister and Brother moved in with My Mom after she got remarried and I decided that I would stay with my Dad and his Wife Lin. I started the 8Th grade at a new Middle School, very excited because sometimes being the new girl has perks. I was very wrong...the town was small so everyone grew up with each other. I was the outcast...I had a hard time getting anyone to talk to me which killed my self-esteem. I kept at it, I smiled and said hi to the girls I went to class with, flirted with the boys etc. All of my work paid off, the last day of school I was asked if, right after school I would like to go to the movies with some of the "cool" kids. I was so excited I called my Dad from the school office at lunch and got his OK. I was finally excepted nothing was going to ruin this day!!!! Again I was wrong...right after school I met up with the "cool" kids and when we were about to walk to the movies some stupid kid from the 6Th grade nailed me in the head with marshmallow cream and one of the other kids squirted ketchup all over me. Needless to say I didn't get to go to the movies. I moved in with my Mom after that summer.

Sometimes I Feel Like Snow White

If I haven't told all of my bloggy friends yet...my parents in law live in my house. They moved in last June and I think are planning on staying forever. So in my house there is 4 adults, 2 kids, a dog....now outside my house I have a small forest (well OK not really a forest just a shit load of woodland creatures. The creatures have not always lived been there that is the work of my father in law we will call him Papa since that is what my babies call him. Papa doesn't work or have any hobbies (well does drinking a 1/2 pint of cheap vodka like a bottle of water a hobby?) but he does like to feed the neighborhood animals. Every morning he gets up, grabs his vodka and his pack of smokes and goes outside to put out peanuts for the squirrels and chipmunks and bird feed for of coarse the birds. Some mornings when I walk outside for my morning smoke and caffeine fix it is nice....I see cardinals, blue jays, a couple of baby squirrels etc. On other days it's scary and I have to go out to the front of the house. The other day I counted and had 13 squirrels, 3 chipmunks, 12 morning doves, countless sparrows....it was like the Albert Hitchcock movie "The Birds". If he doesn't get up on time or god forbid my parents in law are out of town, we have a woodland creature riot. They come up to our windows and peer in...they bark and chirp at my dog when she goes out and does her business etc. Sometimes I like to make believe that I am Snow White and my kids are the dwarfs, maybe the woodland creatures will help me clean the house.....yeah right...they come and poop on my deck and die in my pool. It makes the old man happy....and that is why I tolerate it...oh what we do for love.

While I have been away

So it feels like forever since I have posted. It really was only a week...but whatever, then you have to catch up with everyone and you want to leave comments..blah...blah. The last week I spent allllllll of my time in my office at work doing year end reviews on "the divas" (the girls I manage) you would think that it wouldn't take so long but it does...their pay raises and if they are going to keep their jobs or not depend on it so I take it quite seriously.... While I was away I also had to have ex-rays done on my foot because I thought I broke it. Now you might be asking "how does she know what a broken foot feels like?" so I am going to tell you a story.....

*Flashback February 2, 2008*

I was horsing around with the Hubby "Bill" and while I was running from him he grabbed my hand and as I was pulling away from him...he squeezed too hard and I broke my hand....Now you might say.."wow he must be really strong"...but alas no...I have the bone density of a 70 year old woman due to the lack of calcium in my diet and my smoking (that is what my doctor says anyway)... I broke it...it sucked I had little babies and I was working ungodly hours....but I do have a funny story about my broken hand and a Pimp.

I was at work, being the best manager at a retail electronics store that I could be. I was making my rounds on the sales floor and walked by the Appliance department and I saw him. He was a tall black man in alligator boots wearing (I am not kidding) fur coat, big gold rings and gold necklaces. I almost pissed my self he looked so ridiculous...so what is a girl to do? Why walk over with my bright pink cast and start talking to my Pimp customer. Of coarse the first thing out of his mouth "Giiiirll what happened to yo hand?" and just as I was about to say "Tripped over the baby gate" (hey I wasn't going to tell everyone that my hubby broke it) but he stopped me and said "Wait giiiiirrl, I know how you done it....Ur Man musta gotten in trouble and you chopped in instead ah up slapped. That has happened to me befur, when my Bitches get out of line."....So my new Pimp friend taught me how to properly Bitch Slap some hos. By the way this is a true story and he bought over $6,000 worth of stuff from me.

Ah, good times....You never know who you will meet in retail. He by far was the most memorable...well almost the most...but a good story for another day. Good news is my foot is not broken but the bone is badly bruised...I this time I really did fall....I tripped over Wubbers (my son). Any body out there Broke a bone before?

A Lost Protector

As I have said before in other posts the amount of dreams I have are crazy. Lately all of the dreams (the non sex ones) have to do with me saving the world or others. I am alone to protect myself and my babies, during the dreams have wondered where is Bill my husband, or Sausage my father, and more recently where is Carl my best friend from high school. Carl was a big guy... 6' 7", he had long black hair and is what you would call "goth". I was not like that, I was small (5'2" and 90 lbs soaking wet) I only wore stuff that was either baby blue or pink. We were a strange couple...when we would go to the mall, little old ladies and mall security would ask if I was in some kind of trouble and did I need help getting away from him.....How we first met.. He just came up to me in English class during Freshman year and started talking to me...He later told me that, him and his friend noticed a new girl sitting in the class and his friend made a bet that he couldn't get me to talk to him. The rest was history...he became my best friend....I was his shoulder to cry on when things were going bad in his life and he would protect me as best as he could from my step father. Once Carl started coming over my step prick as I will now call him, was a little afraid of my new friend. My mother was also at first...the first time she met him was at the mall, she just recently had my little sister and he came running up to me as I was holding her. He took her out of my arms and started talking to her, telling her she was so cute etc. My Mom about had a heart attack, here is a big guy, wearing a dog collar, with long black hair and a goatee holding her new baby. Once he started coming over and step prick seemed scared she loved him. She would actually let me leave whenever I wanted to see him, she trusted him with my well being. Her faith in him was well placed, we never got in to any trouble and we never had more than a strong friendship, sure there was sexual tension but we were 17 what do you expect. We never acted on it because we never wanted to have an excuse not to be just good friends.....Then one day after my Mom, Dumbass, Sookie , the babies and I finally left step prick, Carl was gone...We stopped talking to each other...I would call and leave messages and finally one day the number changed.... I found him on Facebook a few months ago, he is married with two boys... he had asked me why we stopped being friends...I couldn't tell him....I had no idea.

I have thought about it a lot lately....and it makes sense....Sausage was my protector growing up until my parents divorced and then Carl protected me from the things Sausage couldn't...Then I met Bill...Bill has been my protector ever sense.... So what do my dreams mean? Maybe I am my own protector now...I have my own babies...just a thought

Maybe someone else can tell me what they think?

My Dreams

Ok, well if you have been around from the beginning you will know that I am taking the wonder drug Celexia. One of the side effects to the crazy pills are that you might get vivid dreams....what they didn't say is that you will remember them and you might get multiple at night.... The dreams have been weird, scary, sexy or a combo of all three. I have had two Armageddon ones in the last week and six sex dreams. This is crazy...I can't even blog about them because they would either depress you all or make you blush. I think I need to lay off the history channel......I think it is affecting what I have been dreaming about.

By the way World Domination is on the way 3 more babies from the family and friends with be born in 2009!!!! Muhahahaha!!!!!

My Mazda: part 2

So as I have told you my Mazda runs on love... my first winter the heater core went out... It was replaced but it never got warmer (except in the summer) than 30 degrees in the car. Dumbass, Sookie and I would have to thaw out after we made trips back and forth from my parents house. I think that is why to this day that I don't like my car very warm... I will turn on the seat warmer but I won't turn on the heat unless the kids are in the car with me. My passenger window stopped rolling down and we had to have it permanently placed in the upright position.

I had many adventures in the Mazda...countless trips to the College that Scarlett and Jill stayed... or just driving around with my friends (gas was only $.80 a gallon)... there was a time that after my high school boyfriend broke up with me, my girlfriends and I piled in to the Mazda and took a road trip to the exes house. Materials that we brought were as follows.
1. Five giggly girls in heels
2. One bumper sticker that said "I am so gay I can't even think straight"
3. Razor Blade to slash bumper sticker so you could not pull it off in one piece
4. Flashlights
I am not sure how we weren't caught because we were loud and not stealthy at all, but we applied said sticker. Next day we laughed even harder when we saw his car with sticker still intact.

Some memories with Dumbass: He on the other hand hated me having a car... he thought just because I could drive that I should take him everywhere he and his friends wanted. That was a no... unless I got something in return. One day he was so angry that he kicked my Mazda and put a big dent in it, for coarse since his shoes were dirty I noticed the foot print and able to recognize it as my brothers Doc Martins (hence why we call him Dumbass). Not only did I make him wash my baby and pop the dent out. I told him that if he ever wanted to go any where again with me he would have to dress up like one of my girlfriends. He did once, after that I didn't make him again (the staring from others was too much) ..... There was this one time that I was taking Dumbass and Sookie to my parents.... Dumbass pissed me off so I made him sit in the backseat and Sookie got to ride shotgun.... he needed a newspaper for a school project so I stopped at the front of the grocery store....when he came to the car and placed his hand on the door handle... I sped off about 30 feet so he would have to chase us... after doing that about 4 more times, he had about 1/6 of the paper left and he was out of breath and cursing. Sookie and I were crying and about peeing our pants from laughing... the look on his face was priceless ...When I think back and talk to my siblings about it, Sookie and I still laugh hard... Dumbass gets pissed.

Some memories with Sookie: Sookie was in Junior High when I got the Mazda so I used to pick her up at school all the time. When she was in school she brought home a leaf and grew a tree from that, her mistake was placing it close to where I would park. I ran over her little sapling more times than I could count, it would make her so angry. I drove by the old house some months ago and it was still there...all grown up now...it was one tough tree. Sookie was my annoying little sister but, she was always there for me and looked up to me. Some of my best memories were in that car with her. I would get home around 2:00am and wake her up to take her to Taco Bell on the weekends after I had been out with my friends. She never complained and would say that it was so cool of me to do that for her.... Sookie still remembers those nights and told me recently that those nights were the best she can remember living in that house.

It was a sad day when that car finally gave up...since it ran on love I never had engine problems, but the body of the car finally gave out. I fully aware that my baby would soon give out because my backseats were being pushed higher and higher up. Mechanics had told me that the undercarriage was so badly rusted that they were wondering how the car was still together. When it rained I couldn't put anything on the floor boards and the trunk because things got wet. June 21st 2001 it happened, it was late and I was driving home from work...they were doing road construction on one of the main streets and I might have been going a little fast. I hit a bump and I heard my car make an awful sound... I got home and went to bed not even thinking about it. When I woke up I saw the damage... my baby's back passenger wheel could not be seen from the back...the body finally gave out and my rear axle was where my back seat should have been. I cried so hard... Sausage came over and took me to lunch....we went car shopping and I picked out and purchased my first new car. The dealership gave me $50 for my car and I never saw her again.

My Mazda taught me one important lesson:

I can drive, smoke, shift and talk on my cell all at the same time

She might be dead but always alive in my mind.

My Mazda: part 1

When I was 15, I worked during the summer so I could save up for a car, I loved my first job at a coffee shop (story for another day). I saved everything so I could be free of my parents when I turned 16. My Uncle was selling his 1986 Mazda 626 lx for $600 and Sausage, my father, convinced me to buy it. It was not love at first sight.... It was not the color that you see in the picture by a maroon, about 6 different shades because the car had been hit multiple times and they never repainted it all. It was a stick, which I had to learn to drive. The car was still mine, I bought it and had a job to pay for insurance so all and all I could over look that the car was really ugly. I pimped it out the best way that I could, bought seat covers, steering wheel cover, and fuzzy dice all in leopard print. I put a princess crown in the back window, and about 5 Metallica stickers...oh yeah... I was the Shit. My Parents loved the car too, it meant that since I could drive myself I could drive Dumbass and Sookie back and forth to the every other weekend visitations to Sausages house (it was a hour 1 one way and 90 miles round trip). The car lasted 3 years after I bought it and I swear ran on love that had for it. I had lots and lots of adventures in that car so I plan on stretching this blog for a couple of posts. I loved that car... so much that when I went to trade it in (because the body gave out, not the engine...remember it ran on love) not only did I cry, but I yelled at the guy who was taking off the plates of my Mazda and placing them on my new car because he was basically RIPPING them off. They had no idea how hard it was for me to get rid of the car, even though I couldn't drive it anymore and the paint was so bad that I went to wash it one last time and paint was coming off on the rag. It was still mine and just like the first person you have sex with I don't think you ever forget you first car.

For the New Year

Haven't spent time in blogger world in a couple of days. Thought I would let you know of my resolutions for this year.

1. Have more time for Me- I am a Mom and a Wife and I love being those things but I am still Alice. I would like to be Alice more often, like once a month instead of once every six months.

2. I will "dress up" and make myself presentable everyday...... Dress up meaning I am going to wear cute shoes and do my hair and makeup, wear some lipstick and shave my legs more often.

3. Make up with my Mom.... I am not speaking to her, but maybe with a little counseling and an apology (on her part) we can see each other again.

I will read and get back to all of you soon.

xoxoxo

Please don't think less of us....

I am kinda down today... not really sure why, so I thought I would tell you a funny story about Sausage and my brother "Dumbass" today. As you all know... Christmas was very busy for me. I spent a lot of time with my Family. I had a small party for New Years, Scarlet, Sausage, Lin, Dumbass and Princess came over to drink, eat and be merry. Dumbass spent most of his time showing all of us random things on You Tube... here is the one he was most giddy about it is called "Jizz in my pants".... don't worry it is not graphic at all just funny. It is like the music video that Justin Timberlake did called "Dick in a Box" for SNL last year... he actually makes a cameo in this one too.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4pXfHLUlZf4

Anyway now that you have watched it you can understand the rest of the story. So... Sausage, Dumbass and I smoke.... so we were out on the deck since we don't smoke in the house (no smoke for the babies ever, not even in the car). I asked the guys "Does that really happen to guys?" We like to talk about things and we are all pretty blunt and open. Sausage and Dumbass both told me stories of time that it had happened to them *cringes* (all I wanted was a "yes" or "no"). So the rest of the evening every time my brother did anything he jerked his body and sang "..and I Jizzed in my pants"...(when he opened the fridge, took a drink of beer, ate a little smokie, so on and so forth) lets just say by the end of the night I was glad I was realllllly drunk because then Sausage stared doing it to and we couldn't stop laughing.... so enjoy and I will hope that all of you don't think we are a bunch of sickos dancing around and talking about sex every 2 mins when we are together (even though we might be).

My Wedding Day

So Princess of the Universe was commenting on how much she hates the whole wedding scene and I can totally understand. I have a lot of stuff I can blog about today but here I am thinking of my wedding day. So bear with me because it wasn't like most weddings...

First I need to set the day up

I got engaged December 25th 2002, Bill proposed to me while I was coming out of the bathroom in my pj's and him in his boxers while we were living in our first apartment together. My sister, Sookie, spent the night and I got up to tell her Merry Christmas. I needed to freshen up first and Bill wanted to propose to me before I woke her up. It was very cute and Very Bill, he has never been big on a grand production of anything, he is very down to earth.

I told my Maids including Jill and Scarlet, and my sister Sookie that Bill and I will be married October of 2004 so we had plenty of time to plan a big wedding. I had 300+ people that I wanted to invite, big church, big reception and plans for it all. I had my dresses picked out for the ladies and went dress shopping for myself. I took Jill, Scarlet, my Mom and Lin to look at dresses.... The first one I tried on brought tears to my eyes and it was the one (after I tried on 100+ more) That Lin and Sausage bought for me. The picture of the dress is above (no the girl is not me, I was thinner and had red/blonde hair).
Then March of 2004 came along and all hell broke loose.... I just woke up one day... and thought Fuck this!!!! I am not spending all this money on something that no one will remember. The wedding had taken a life on as it's own, so I told Bill that I wanted to get married in May, and I wanted maybe 50 people to be invited including us and the Bridal party. I called the ladies and the fam and told them all to save Memorial day weekend open we were getting hitched. I canceled everything.... Caters, reception hall, the ladies dresses. I told the Maids to go to Macy's or Express and find a black cocktail dress that matched so they could still stand up with us. My Maids freaked out (they all assumed I was Preggers even my parents) but were happy I wasn't going to make them all buy $300 dresses that they couldn't wear again. My parents were all of a sudden willing to pay for more stuff... My Mom paid for some flowers and my Cake, Sausage and Lin paid for a restaurant reception where we had the best meal ever. The Groomsmen still talk about the the awesome steak they got!!!
*Flashback May 29th 2004* Cue flashback music and dreamlike background
I woke up early (around 5am) after spending the night at a hotel that my Mom had rented for me and my friends. I got up and went downstairs to be alone, shortly after Scarlet came down and we talked about life and ate breakfast, had a drink and smoked about 2 packs of cigs. The Maids all got up then and we headed out to get hair done. We got hungry went to Dairy Queen, and ate it at the church where we got our dresses on. I have a great pic of me going out side with a pair of short shorts and a button down top on... made up and all smoking another pack of cigs. We then all got in to our dresses and Sausage came in to walk me down the alse. I cried the whole ceremony.... it didn't help that the Maids did to. Then we hit up the restaurant where....
I looked like a princess and had the best time without all the craziness. I got to walk around with a wine glass in hand and talk to everyone. We finished the night at a local dive with a couple of friends, Lin and Sausage drinking shots and getting shit faced. I have a great pic of Sausage and me drunk, my Jill's husband Jack freak danced with Lin. I ended up with the back of my dress unzipped since I could no loner breathe in the tightness dancing with Bill and the Maids. All and all perfect for me..... maybe I thought I wanted a "dream" wedding but mine was definitely more fun than the rest I have ever been to.

I got my First Award

Before Sausage Mechanic retired he did give me an award. Part of the rules are that you must give 10 honest things about yourself and then nominate some others (I think 7) and then they do the same. I don't follow that many and If I do they already have the award so I will put a couple out there at the end. I am very humbled about this, I have not blogged for long but Sausage said my blog was very good and he wanted me to keep doing it. So here you go 10 honest things about me.
1. I haaaaate the phrase "Making Love"..... gag me with a spoon. I think it is cheesy and stupid. I feel that you do not have to love someone to have sex with them. Sex is fun and as long as it is done with consent on both parties and is safe... should be done often and with multiple people unless you are in a committed relationship (then you should only do it with each other). The phase's, "Do it" (what are we going to do?) and "sleep together" (like you are actually sleeping" don't do it for me either. Lets call it as it is... sex and be proud!!!!
2. I apologize for everything..... I mean everything, even if I have no control over the situation. I appologize when someone is having a bad day, if someone runs in to me, if someone drops something, it is annoying. People constantly ask "Why are you apologizing to me?... you didn't do anything".... I can only speculate... My mother has not once in her life, has been able to apologize for ANYTHING. I think I am making up for all the apologies I should have received.
3. When I am on the road in my car, it is my road. I am the person who is speeding by you, flipping you off because I have to pass you even though you are going 10 miles OVER the speed limit. I tailgate because I am impatient, I talk on my cell phone and I am a left lane driver. You may all cuss me now.... I don't care. I do drive better when my kids are in the car.
4. Speaking of kids... As much as I cannot picture my life with out Wubbers and Roo Roo, I wish I would have waited I little while longer before I had them. If I could do it again, but wouldn't be able to have them exist, I would have done it the same. My children are the light of my life and I love them more than I could have thought possible. I just wish me and Bill could have spent more time as a couple before we became parents. I also wish I could have finished college. Now, here I am trying to juggle everything at once.
5. I wanted to be a Forensic Pathologist when I grew up. I started going to college for it and realized a couple of things.... 1 studies show that people with that type of work do not marry or have kids because of crazy hours and look out life is bleak because of all the death. 2. I would have to go to school for as long as a brain surgeon, hey I liked school but not that much. 3. I couldn't afford it, I had no savings for college and the timing was bad for me and my parents. Why you may ask would I want to do that????? To me death is not a morbid thing, it happens to everyone. I wanted to be a doctor but the risk of hurting or killing someone I couldn't live with, dead people didn't feel or die. Trying to figure out why someone died is the last great mystery and that has always interested me.
6. I am a history buff... I watch a lot of History movies and read alot of history books. My fav periods of time are the 2nd World War, Ancient Greece and The Renaissance. I love to here about past lives and past cultures, I believe that we prepare for the future by looking to the past for the mistakes that have been made by others.
7. If Vampires existed I would want to be one. Call me crazy but I think the idea of living forever and being able to be a menacing presence would be really cool. Also Vampires are sexy....
8. It is really hard coming up with 10 things
9. If I could afford it I would get a boob job. I have never been big breasted... before I had kids I weighed about 93 lbs and had an "A "cup and always wished I could have bigger ones. Now that my kids have made them "less perky" I would like to fix that..... 34 D please.
10. Even though I hate my ex-stepfather, I am glad I met him... he helped make me the way I am today. Same with my ex-boyfriend that was terrible to me... I believe God doesn't give you stuff that you can't handle, what you do with the experience can only make you stronger.

Mechanic has decided to Retire

For the Bloggers that follow my Father (Sausage Mechanic) posts.... he has told me with a heavy heart that he has decided to quit blogging for complicated reasons. I am verrrrry upset this this decision since he was the reason why I decided to start blogging. I will say that he might check in time to time. Please wish him the best and if you decide to leave any comments (on here of coarse) I will be sure to let him know. I will miss him, but I can pick up the phone or go over his house, you all can't, which makes me even sadder because he is a very cool person to know.....
